About EYWEP

EYWEP is a joint initiative of ECOWAS and AUDA-NEPAD aimed at promoting the economic empowerment of young entrepreneurs and women in West Africa.

Implemented by the ECOWAS Youth and Sports Development Centre, the programme creates a conducive environment for entrepreneurship, focusing on capacity building, access to financing, technical support and the promotion of innovative and sustainable businesses across member states. A pilot phase is being carried out in six countries: Benin, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau and Gambia.

Is the programme free?

Yes, the EYWEP programme is free for selected participants. Our mission is to make entrepreneurial support accessible to all young people, without any financial barriers.
