EYWEP supporting ECOWAS’s Vision 2050

ECOWAS’s Vision 2050 aims to build a more integrated, prosperous, peaceful and people-centred community. Young people and women play a vital role in this transformation.

The EYWEP Programme translates this ambition into concrete actions. By strengthening entrepreneurial capacity, facilitating access to economic opportunities and encouraging innovation, it contributes directly to job creation, the reduction of inequalities and regional economic integration.

The programme will also promote the development of regional value chains, cooperation between entrepreneurs from different Member States and the emergence of a more dynamic youth.

Through EYWEP, ECOWAS is investing in its human capital and preparing a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of meeting the economic challenges of tomorrow. The programme thus serves as a strategic lever to accelerate the implementation of Vision 2050 and build a more resilient, competitive and inclusive West Africa.
