Innovation at the heart of the EYWEP Programme

Innovation is one of the main drivers of economic development in West Africa. The EYWEP Programme encourages young people and women to come up with innovative solutions that meet the needs of local communities in sectors such as agriculture, digital technologies, health, energy, the green economy, the cultural and creative industries, and services.

Beyond providing funding, the programme supports project leaders in developing their innovations, validating their business models and gaining access to markets.

Partner incubators and accelerators will play a key role in this process by providing entrepreneurs with an environment conducive to experimentation, learning and growth.

The aim is to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of bringing about lasting transformation in West African economies.
